Our founder and Winegrower William “Bill” Hill believes vineyards are the primary determinant of wine quality. Since 1974 Bill has created methodologies for the identification of ideal climates and soils, and for the design of state-of-the-art vineyards. Prime Solum wines showcase our Brokenrock Vineyard and a few other elite Napa Vineyards, which are the best places to grow world-class Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Petit Verdot.

Located at 1021 Atlas Peak Rd. in Napa, CA. our Prime Solum tasting room is just 7 minutes North of downtown Napa. You can book through Tock, or reach us at 707-492-3531 to schedule a tasting, purchase wine or arrange curbside pick-up. We are here to help you and happy to answer any of your questions.

WITH VIRTUAL WINE TASTINGS YOU CAN JOIN FROM HOME.
Virtual wine tastings can be a great option for private OR business groups to enjoy our wines without having to travel to Napa! It is easy to buy wine tasting packages individually OR for an entire group. We virtually gather through Zoom, Google Meets or Microsoft Teams and do the tasting from the comfort of our own homes (well, in our case we host from our barrel room).
We ship full bottles of wine to each location and schedule a time for your group's private tasting. During the 60-minute event, second-generation Winegrower / Managing Partner Elana Hill or her husband, David Ahlm, will personally host you through a video-meeting on Zoom.
This format, where only your group is online (this is not a public event where others can join in), allows everyone to ask questions and have fun while tasting!
We feel strongly that enjoying food with your wine tasting enhances the experience. Once you choose your tasting package, we are happy to suggest a list of food options which you can use as a guide to build your own cheese and charcuterie platter. David Ahlm, a professional chef from Sweden with over 20 years of hospitality experience, will help with these food selections, so you know they will be great!
